Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 5, 1990 Lillian L. Long, 90, a former longtime Wickenburg resident, died Nov. 24 in Bokchito, Okla. Mrs. Long was born Feb. 18, 1900 in Worthington, Minn. She and her husband, Harry F. Long, who preceded her in death in 1955, moved to the community in 1947 from Renton, Wash. Mrs. Long’s daughter and three granddaughters graduated from Wickenburg schools, and she was very active in the First Baptist Church, in Wickenburg. She was also active in helping establish mission churches in Aguila and Congress. In 1987, after 50 years in Wickenburg, she retired to Oklahoma. Survivors include her daughter, Deloris (Peggy) McGehee of Bokchito; two sisters, Jeanette Wiley of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Kate Prouty of Cambridge, Idaho; two grandsons, Dave McGehee of Marietta, Ga., and John McGehee of Tempe; three granddaughters, Diane L. Robinson of Houston, Jenny Kay Pope of Scottsdale, and Stacy A McGehee of Bokchito; and five great grandchildren. Services were Friday, Nov. 30 at the Wickenburg Cemetery with Dr. A.B. (Bert) Follmar officiating.
