MARTINEZ, JR., Porfirio Perez

ELOY - Porfirio Perez Martinez Jr., 46, of Roswell, Ga., and formerly of Eloy, died Dec. 12, 2000 in Roswell. Visitation Sunday at St. Helen's Catholic Church. Rosary and Funeral Mass will be celebrated there Monday by the Rev. Martin Martinez. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park. Mr. Martinez was born July 10, 1954 in Eloy. He was a self-employed handyman and lived in Georgia for two years. Survivors include his mother, Maria Luisa Martinez; six sisters, Mary Ann Aguilar of Willcox, Gabriela Smith of Georgia, Connie Cervantes of Casa Grande, Eugenia Guevara of Picacho, Maria Lapa of Nebraska and Patty Martinez of Georgia; and three brothers, Juan Martinez of Arizona City, Francisco Martinez of Picacho and Guadalupe Martinez of Willcox. He was preceded in death by his father, Porfirio Martinez. Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Casa Grande Dispatch December 14, 2000.
