GARFIELD, Emil (Gene)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 8, 1992, p. 2 Emil “Gene” Garfield, 65, of Wickenburg died December 31 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Mr. Garfield was born July 23, 1926 in Bouse. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona. Mr. Garfield was a retired telegrapher from the Santa Fe Railroad and veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Order of the Masons. He was a 1945 graduate of Wickenburg High School. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; a son, Lance E. Garfield of Kingman; a daughter, Lugene Garfield of Phoenix; a brother, Ernest Garfield of Phoenix; a sister, Estella Koster of Phoenix; and two granddaughters. Memorial services were Saturday, January 4 at St. Alban Episcopal Church of Wickenburg. Fr. Dan Gerrard officiated.
