Harold E. Hindman, 96, of Yarnell died January 1 at his home in Yarnell.
Mr. Hindman was born March 4, 1895 in Princeton, Illinois. He had lived in Arizona for the past 3 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1986, and a son, Clifford, in 1987.
Mr. Hindman was a mechanic and craftsman and a creative planner and builder, able to improvise with materials at hand. He enjoyed planning and helping others.
He was a veteran of World War I.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed the daily newspaper, keeping abreast of current events. He will be missed by the community, friends and family.
Survivors include a son, Philip, of California; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Saturday, January 10 at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley. American Legion Post No. 79 of Yarnell was in charge.
