The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 15, 2011 Sheila Grace Scott Mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Sheila Grace Scott died Feb. 2, 2011, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born Oct. 12, 1946, in Snowflake to LT Jackson and Cecilia Smith. Sheila lived most of her childhood years in the Pinetop-Lakeside area. Most of her adult years she lived in Lakeside and Snowflake. Sheila loved to draw, paint and crochet, spending time with her family, camping and fishing made her happy. She loved all animals and was very protective of her pets. Sheila is survived by her four children: Cecilia Tait (Richard) of Kanab, Utah; Rickey Weathers (Sharla) of Boise, Idaho; Lafe Weathers of Snowflake, and Shelly Scott (Martin) of Snowflake; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers: LT Jackson Jr. (Sally) of Lakeside, Cecil Jackson (Kathy) of Snowflake, and Howard Jackson of Springerville; sister Sharon Vancleave (Doug) of Snowflake; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and stepfather Lafeyette Hall. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Silver Creek Mortuary Chapel, 745 Paper Mill Rd. in Taylor. Arrangements by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
