The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 4, 1992, p. 2 Joe F. Henson, 51, of Wickenburg died February 25 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Mr. Henson was born March 31, 1940 in Franklin, Kentucky. He had lived in Arizona for the past 20 years. He was the owner of H&K Concrete. Mr. Henson was an active member of the Wickenburg community, serving as a member of Elks Lodge No. 2160, and also the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Desert Caballeros, coached in Pop Warner Football in previous years, was a past president of the Wickenburg Saddle club, and a past board member of the town’s Parks and Recreation Commission. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Jack and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Joanne; two sons, Jeff of Wickenburg and Ken of California; three daughters, Cindy of Lake Havasu, Brenda of Scottsdale and Jacque of Wickenburg; a brother, Bobby of Wisconsin; four sisters, Willa of Kentucky; Jessie of Tucson, Nina of Michigan and Mary Ann of Washington; and five grandchildren. Services were February 28 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Fr. Mathew Mampara officiated. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Dad, you left a legacy to your family and friends, and you still impact Wickenburg, the home you loved so much. Your smile, compassion, sense of humor, and love of laughter are deeply missed but have been passed on to your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You are in our thoughts daily, forever in our hearts, and your presence is always with us. To call you husband, Dad, Papa, or friend was an honor. To know you was a blessing. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
