The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 25, 1992, p. 3 John Fredrick Sanders, 66, of Wickenburg died March 17 at his home in Wickenburg. Mrs. Sanders was born April 12, 1925 in Oscola, Iowa. He had lived in Arizona for the past three years. He was preceded in death by a son, Howard, in 1952. He was a life member of VFW No. 2564 of Chariton, Iowa. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Vera; four daughters, Virginia McFarland of Wickenburg, Linda Adair of Detroit, Connie Brown of Flagstaff and Bonnie Newton of Wickenburg; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three nieces and nephews. Private funeral services and cremation followed a visitation Thursday, March 19 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
