The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 22, 1992, p. 2 Domitila Cruz 33, of Wenden, died April 17 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. Mrs. Cruz was born August 11, 1959 in Michoacan, Mexico. She had lived in Arizona for the past 15 years. She married Gregorio Cruz in August 1980, in Wenden. Mrs. Cruz was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Wenden. Survivors include her husband, Greg; four daughters, Christina, Lily, Norma and Nora; her parents, Vincente and Elisa Briseno of Mexico; four sisters; six brothers; her grandmothers, Domitila of Texas Hill and Esther of Mexico City and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 21 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Wenden. Fr. Mathew Mampara officiated. Burial followed in the Wenden Cemetery. All arrangements were handled by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
