The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 6, 1992, p. 2 Lee Bishop, 78, of Sedona, died May 1 in the Kachina Point Health Care Center in Sedona. Mr. Bishop was a former longtime Wickenburg resident. He was born November 22, 1913 in Los Angeles. He had lived in Arizona for the past 45 years. Mr. Bishop worked at the Gold Nugget Restaurant as a chef for over 30 years, and also worked at the Rancho Bar 7 prior to working at the Nugget. He resided in Sedona with his close friends Dean and Kathy Herbert, prior to his death. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel. Bishop Kevin Shumway will officiate. Cremation will follow, with a private scattering of the cremains by air over Vulture Peak in Wickenburg. The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
