Longtime cowboy and outfitter Guy R. Shupe, 95, died recently in Bayfield, Colorado.

Mr. Shupe was born in Brazos, New Mexico in 1897.  He had wrangled at Castle Hot Springs for several seasons, and had spent several summers in Wickenburg with his sons, Dobbin and Gary Shupe.

In addition to his two sons, Dan “Dobbin” Shupe of Wickenburg and Gary Shupe of Apache Junction, he is survived by a daughter, Juanita Jordan of Bayfield; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 7 at the Mormon Church in Bayfield, Colorado.
