Mary Charlotte Holmgren, 99, died peacefully in her sleep Monday, Feb. 14, 2011.

Mrs. Holmgren was born Jan. 17, 1912, in Phoenix, Arizona Territory, to Aola N. Krebs and Alta Booton Krebs. On July 18, 1935, she married Arthur B. Holmgren. They owned and operated Flagstaff Auto Supply Co. for many years.

Mrs. Holmgren is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay Runke; son-in-law Lawrence D. Runke; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and sister Bertha Elwing of Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers; three sisters; and one half-sister.
