BROWN, Larry Nez

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, February 17, 2011 Larry Nez Brown, 42, of Flagstaff, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, in Flagstaff. Mr. Brown was born on March 5, 1968, at Grand Canyon, to Gilbert Brown and Nellie Nez. He grew up in Flagstaff and attended public schools at South Beaver Elementary, Flagstaff Middle School and graduated from Flagstaff High School. He liked to go fishing and was very athletic and artistic. He loved being with his family and eating all the good cooking that was around him. Mr. Brown is survived by mother Nellie Moore; siblings Carlos Nez, Wanda Nez and Elfreida Brown; children Gilbert Ray Brown, Dalila Lynn Brown and Brandon Mathew Brown; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Brown. A funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St. Interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St. A reception in honor of Mr. Brown will be at Mountaintop Assembly of God Church, 1729 N. Main St., in Flagstaff, after cemetery services. People who wish to assist the Brown family may make contributions to Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary.
