SHUMAKER, Helen (Mrs. F. Ray)

Mrs. F. Ray Shumaker, 78, who was reared in Phoenix and known as Mrs. Helen Baxter here, died Monday in Pacific Grove, Calif. Mrs. Shumaker was the daughter of the late J.L.B. Alexander, a pioneer Phoenix attorney. She resided in San Francisco several years before moving to Pacific Grove. She had owned property in downtown Phoenix and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral before moving to California. Memorial services were held Monday. Survivors include her husband and a half sister. The Arizona Republic Wednesday, August 30, 1967.
