Graveside services for Mary Zelma Aber of Yarnell, who died August 4 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 7, at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley. Mrs. Aber was 90.
A native of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, she was born August 5, 1901. She had lived in Arizona for eight years.
Mrs. Aber retired from school teaching 1n 1966 after 30 years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Galva, Illinois.
She is survived by her son Bill of Yarnell, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One Great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Arizona Division, 2929 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
Wickenburg Funeral Home assisted the family with all arrangements.

Mary Z. Aber passed away in the Wickenburg Nursing Home August 4, 1992. She was born August 5, 1901 near Mr. Sterling, Illinois.
She graduated from Hersman High School and Blackburn College in Carbondale, Illinois.
She taught school in Brown County, Illinois until going to Galva, Illinois to teach for more than 20 years, retiring in 1966.
She then moved to Leisure World at Seal Beach, California and moved to Wickenburg in December 1991.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Betty Aber of Yarnell; two grandchildren, Rick of Yarnell and Judy Snyder of Morongo Valley, California; and three great-grandchildren Jeff and Jaime Aber and Tim Snyder.
One great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held August 7 in Genung Cemetery near Yarnell.
