The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 5, 1992, p. 2 Dorothy A. Preston of Wittmann died July 28 at her residence. She was 72. A native of Chester, New York, Mrs. Preston was born November 25, 1919. She had been a resident of Arizona for 30 years. Mrs. Preston had been a registered nurse for 27 years; was president for six years of the Arizona Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; and was an avid CBer for 40 years (this is “Mama Bear” signing off). She is survived by her husband Pal Preston of Wittmann; daughter Nancy Lewis of Scottsdale; sons Ronald Moran of New York, George Moran of Florida, William Moran of New Mexico, and Martin Larson of North Carolina; 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Services were held last week at the Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel in Sun City West. Interment was at Phoenix Memorial Park.
