The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 9, 1992, p. 2 Laura M. Cooper of Congress, a 12-year resident of Arizona, died September 4 in Sun City. She was 79. A native of Montana, Mrs. Cooper was born January 28, 1913. She had been a homemaker and lived most of her life in East Bethel, Minnesota. She had been involved in politics in the area and was active in the West Bethel Methodist Church. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband William J. Cooper of Congress, sister Opel Schilla of Minnesota, niece Pat Klang of Minnesota, grandnephews Eric and Leif and grandniece Wendy. No services were planned. Frey Funeral Home of Wickenburg assisted the family with the arrangements.
