Mrs. Deacon was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on February 8, 1920. Polly Deacon was a homemaker. In her lifetime she served as Justice of The Peace in Bagdad, AZ, an EMT in Page, AZ and she also wrote for the Messigner paper in Prescott, AZ. Mrs. Deacon is survived by her husband David Deacon of Congress, AZ, son Buck Deacon also of Congress, AZ; daughters Barbara MacDonald of Paige, AZ and Pat Schwartz of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Deacon is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services were held, Saturday, September 12 at the First Baptist Church in Congress, AZ. Pastor George Thornton presided. Frey Funeral Home of Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
