Albert E. Seaberg of the Wickenburg Nursing Home died September 20, two days before his 89th birthday, at the home. He was 88.
He had lived in Arizona for seven years.
Mr. Seaberg, a retired farmer was born September 22, 1903 in Alvara, Boda, Oland, Sweden to Johann and Mathilda Sjoberg.
At the age of 19, Mr. Seberg immigrated to the United States, joining his brother John (Jack) in rural Mankato, Minnesota.
The majority of his working years were spent in farming in Madelia, Minnesota area.
Mr. Seaberg was a winter resident of Arizona from 1978 until 1985, when he established full-time residency in Wickenburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by one brother, Anton, in Sweden; 9 nieces and nephews, and their families. One niece, Betty Seaberg Hoiby (Mrs. James C.) lives in Wickenburg.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, September 23 at the Wickenburg Cemetery at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Wessling of Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating.
Wickenburg Funeral home handled the arrangements.
