Verda Hibbert of Alta, Idaho, a winter visitor and co-owner of a gold mine between Bagdad and Hillside, died Saturday, October 3 at her home in Alts. She was 60.
Mrs. Hibbert was born January 3, 1932 at Driggs, Idaho to Melvin and Mary Stuart Hill. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother and granddaughter.
Veda married Ned Hibbert on June 15, 1949 at Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they raised a wonderful family. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Mrs. Hibbert is survived by her husband, Ned of Alta, five sons, Hans, Ivan, Rex, Kirk and Arlus all of Alta; four daughters, Tina Kaufman of Alta, Betty Bradley of Idaho Falls, Bonnie Patrick of Boise, and Laree Hibbert of Laramie, Wyoming; three brothers, three sisters and 32 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Driggs LDS Stake Center with Bishop Bill Hunt officiating. Interment was in the Darby Cemetery.
Wade Funeral Home of Driggs handled the arrangements.
