Powers of Peoria, a former 15-year Wickenburg resident and resident of Arizona for 73 years, died Saturday, November 21, 1992 at Glendale, Arizona. She was 81. Mrs. Powers was a retired Clerk for the Peoria Justice of The Peace Court and was a niece of Earnest W. McFarland, who was a former Governor of Arizona, former U.S. Senator of Arizona and former Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her husband Leonard C. Powers and daughter, Sandra Powers. She is survived by son, Delbert Powers of California and daughter, Karen Rawls of Phoenix. Services for Mrs. Powers will be Wednesday, November 25, 1992 at 9:00a.m. at Best Funeral Services Chapel, 9380 W. Peoria Avenue, Peoria, Arizona with interment at the Wickenburg Cemetery in Wickenburg following the services.
