Mary Moore Coughlin of the Coughlin Ranch in Peeples Valley and Phoenix, Arizona died Monday, December 21, 1992 at the ranch. She was 72.
She was born July 26, 1920 at Hartford, Connecticut to James and Cora (Patterson) Moore. They preceded her in death.
Mrs. Coughlin had been a resident of Yavapai County since 1945 when she and her husband purchased the Triangle U Ranch, Walnut Creek and then later acquired the Coughlin Ranch where she died.
Mrs. Coughlin attended the University of Arizona, was a member of the Arizona and Yavapai Cattle Growers, the Phoenix Art Museum, Western Arts Associates and a member and active volunteer of the Heard Museum, Y Chapter of the P.E.O.
Mrs. Coughlin was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Coughlin in 1979; son, James Richard Coughlin in 1972 and daughter Julie Ramsey in 1989.
She is survived by son-in-law, Tom Ramsey of Peeples Valley; 3 granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Tracy and Robert Anderson, Millie and Amy Ramsey.
Services for Mrs. Coughlin will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 26 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 114 S. Marina St., Prescott, AZ, Reverend Paul L. Crowell will officiate. Interment will be private.
