WALKER, Sidney Troyla

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 5, 1994, p. 2 Sidney Troyla Walker died December 25 at the Wickenburg Nursing Home. She was 95. Mrs. Walker lived in Morristown and was born on August 27, 1898 in Brownwood, Texas. She was a housewife and had lived in Arizona for 30 years. Mrs. Walker enjoyed oil painting, writing, poetry and composing music. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Wickenburg. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her daughter Demurial Walker on September 2, 1976. Survivors include sister, Murtes Rogers of Oregon; nieces Sharon Sanders and Shirley Posey, both of Texas; granddaughter Arlene Sturgeon of California; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held December 30 at Morristown Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Church of Christ of Wickenburg, P. O. Box 2046, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
