The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 12, 1994, p. 2 James Lord of Denver and a former Wickenburg resident died January 9 in Denver. He was 78. Mr. Lord was born May 17, 1915 in Lamar, Missouri. He worked for a furniture refinishing company in Kansas City, Missouri and was an Army World War II veteran. He had lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Fred Leisering, in Wickenburg for two years from 1990-1992. While residing in Wickenburg, he attended the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Lord is survived by his daughter, Jan Reich of Arvada, Colorado; sister Katherine Leisering of Wickenburg; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and his parents George and Marion Lord. Services will be held Friday, January 14, at 2 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home, 980 N. Tegner, in Wickenburg. Pastor Gary Golike will officiate. Interment will be at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery at a later date. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
