The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 19, 1994, p. 3 Hebert R. Kyar of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota died January at his home. He was 91. Mr. Kyar was born December 14, 1902. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Myrtle; daughters and sons-in-law Fay Williams of St. James, Minnesota; Gloria Hawkins of Wickenburg, Shirley Whitmer of Palmer, Alaska, Joan and Doug Freyholtz of Fairfax, Minnesota and Jane and Ronald Fischer of Sleepy Eye; son and daughter-in-law Roger and Eva Kyar of Upton, Wyoming; one brother; two sisters; 26 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Larry in 1968; grandchildren Christina Freyholtz and Dean Jones; and sons-in-law Donald Zuhlsdorf, Howard Johnson and Eugene Williams. Five of his grandchildren are residents of Arizona; children of Gloria Hawkins of Wickenburg. They are David Zuhlsdorf and Tom Pollei of Wickenburg, Ann Craig of Buckeye, Bonnie Mattox of Phoenix, and Larry Zuhlsdorf in the Air Force in Sacramento, California. Services have been held in Sleep Eye, with burial at Home Cemetery. Firle Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
