FRANKLIN, Benjamin Reece

Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Wednesday, February 19, 1992, p 2 Benjamin Reece Franklin, 76, of Wenden died Feb 17 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Mr Franklin was born Jan 11, 1916 in Wessington, SD. He had lived in Arizona for the past 24 years. He was retired as head of maintenance at Denali National Park, Alaska. In 1989, the Park Service dedicated one of the park's new garages to in Mr Franklin's name. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Harold Franklin, of Fall City, Wash; a sister, Loretta Daly of Redding, Calif; a brother, Kent Rogers of Oxnard, Calif; and four grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home, and private disposition was conducted. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
