The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 16, 1994, p. 2 Joseph A. Russo of Glendale, Arizona died February 5 at John C., Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix. He was 69. He had lived in Arizona for two years. Mr. Russo was born June 6, 1924 in Westbury, New York. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Phoenix and was honorably discharged from the United States Coast Guard as a Seaman First Class in 1945. He belonged to the Kiwanis Club of Phoenix. Mr. Russo is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Frances Mahoney of Hicksville, New York; four nieces and nephews, including Jill Mahoney of Wickenburg; and one great-niece. Private family services have been held. Cremains will be interred in the family grave. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, 85012. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
