The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 16, 1994, p. 2 Gearold E. Sams died February 12 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was 87. Mr. Sams was born May 6, 1906 in Ohio and was a resident of Arizona from 1957-1979. While in Wickenburg, Mr. Sams and wife Ethel were partners in Country Club Park and Westpark Mobile Home Parks. He was past president of the Wickenburg Rotary Club and the Wickenburg Country Club. Mr. Sams was preceded in death by Ethel, his first wife of 56 years, in 1982. He is survived by his wife Gertrude; sons Ralph of Wickenburg, David of New Orleans, and Paul of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
