Donald Thomas of Wickenburg died February 9 in Morristown. He was 52.
He had lived in Arizona for 4 ½ years. He was born January 14, 1942 in Worthington, Minnesota.
Mr. Thomas was a Bio-Med Electronics technician and was employed at Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West.
He was a Navy veteran.
Mr. Thomas was a college graduate and a youth coordinator at the Wickenburg Youth Center, as well as a substitute teacher, when he arrived in Wickenburg. His hobbies included operating “ham” radios.
He is survived by his mother, Alice M. Thomas of Wickenburg; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, William “Bud” Thomas in 1976.
Services will be held today (Wednesday, February 16) at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 930 N. Tegner St. Burial will also take place today at 2 p.m. at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Pastor Gary Golike and Dr. A. B. Follmar will officiate.
