The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 2, 1994, p. 2 Robert W. Craigo of Wickenburg and Sparks, Nevada died March 1 at his home in Wickenburg. He was 76. Mr. Craigo was born July 29, 1917 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had been in Wickenburg for three months. He served with the National Guard from May 1938 to February 1940. He then served with the U.S. Army, 151st Infantry from February 1940 to August 1941. After completing this term he served with the 462nd Army Air Force Base unit from March 1942 until September 1945. After his discharge from military service he worked as a lithographer for numerous years for various advertising agencies before retiring and moving from California to Wickenburg and Sparks, Nevada. Mr. Craigo is survived by a sister, Maxine Cross of Carefree, Arizona and longtime friends, Jerry and Delores Jones of Sparks. Services will be held Friday (March 11) at 1 p.m. at the V.A. National Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., in Phoenix. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
