The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 2, 1994, p. 2 Jay Harris of Phoenix and Wickenburg died March 5 in Mexico. He was 63. Mr. Harris was born May 29, 1930 in Phoenix and had lived most of his life in Arizona. He was a traveling sales representative for a tool company. As a sales representative, he had traveled extensively throughout the United States and to many foreign countries, but he never lost his fondness for Arizona. Mr. Harris is survived by his mother, Viola McWeyman of Wickenburg; sons John and Jay Jr. Harris of Phoenix; step-children Lezli Byrum, Lester Callahan III, Deidre Callahan, all of Los Angeles and Brigette Callahan of Dana Point, California. Mass will be held Friday (March 11) at 3p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Scottsdale. Interment will be private. Father Frank Fernandez will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
