The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 16, 1994, p. 2 Dudley R. Hancher of Vista, California and a former Wickenburg resident, died March 7 at his home. He was 74. Mr. Hancher was a teacher and coach at Wickenburg High School from 1943 to 1954. During that period, the Wranglers won four Arizona State Six-Man Football Championships and were runners-up twice. Mr. Hancher moved to California in 1954 and continued his career as an educator until his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his wife Mary of Vista, who grew up in Wickenburg and is a sister to the late David E. Carter; daughter Susan Henderson of Escondido, California; sons Greg of Flagstaff, Mike of Auburn, California and Steve of Carlsbad, California; four grandchildren; and sister-in-law Mary Lou Carter of Wickenburg. Services have been held.
