Donald Thomas McGraw of Congress died March 16 in Congress. He was 64.
Mr. McGraw was born March 26, 1929 in Truxton, New York and had lived in Arizona for nine years, moving here from Mattoon, Illinois.
He graduated from Norwich, New York, High School in 1945 and attended Syracuse University for two years.
He was the executive administrator for Customer Service for major independent telephone companies.
Mr. McGraw was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army at the rank of sergeant. He was awarded with two Bronze Stars. Mr. McGraw was a member of the American Legion and the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, camping and hunting.
Mr. McGraw is survived by his wife of 18 years, Suzanne Jane McGraw of Congress; sons Thomas, Steve and Christopher McGraw, all of Syracuse and Edmund Tobin of Statesboro, Georgia; daughters Michelle (Mayer) Fallis of Yarnell and Terrie Taylor and Pamela Gianni, both of Syracuse; sisters Jane Dwyer of Fabius, New York, Barbara LaCova of Copperstown, New York and Mary Stoddard of Truxton, New York and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marie McGraw; brothers Butch and Jack McGraw and sister Joe McGraw.
Services will be held Thursday (March 24) at 10 a.m. at Frey Funeral Home, 980 N. Tegner St. in Wickenburg. Visitation will be private. Pastor Ed Wessling will officiate.
