G. Wesley Sizemore of Wickenburg died March 31 at the Wickenburg Nursing Home. He was 83.
He was born January 30, 1911 in Lancaster, Missouri, the son of Jordan L. and Iva Mae Clark Sizemore. He attended schools in Eden and Kimberley, Idaho, Oregon State College and the University of Idaho.
After farming in Cassia County, Idaho, until 1952, he moved to Wickenburg where he was an air conditioning contractor until retirement in 1973.
He served 11 years on the Cassia County Fair Board, was a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Churches of both Burley, Idaho and Wickenburg.
He was also a member of the Burley Elks Club, El Zariba Shrine of Phoenix, a past president of the Wickenburg Shrine Club, member and past Master of Albion, Idaho Masonic Lodge and a past patron of Evergreen Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Burley.
Mr. Sizemore married Isabell Maggart of Burley on December 24, 1931 in Elko, Nevada.
He is survived by his wife; daughter Linda Lee Callahan of Phoenix; grandsons Trent and Chris Reid and great-grandson Chad Reid all of California and a sister Eloise Gill of Kimberley. He was preceded in death by two daughters and two brothers.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Burley.
