The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 25, 1994, p. 2 Freeman S. Dean of Wickenburg died May 21 in Wickenburg after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He was 87. Mr. Dean was born March 11, 1907 in Albany, Oregon and had lived in Arizona for nine years, moving here from Boise, Idaho. He and his wife were half owners in the Polaris Star mining claims near Morristown. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dean owned a service maintenance business for the Albertson Grocery chain. He and his wife also owned a trailer park in Boise. He enjoyed fishing, prospecting, treasure hunting and particularly, tinkering with cars. He was considered by his family to be a jack-of-all-trades. Mr. Dean is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elva; daughters Paula Faulkner and son-in-law Len of Great Falls, Montana and Sally Martin and son-in-law Del of Perry, Utah; grandchildren Diana Deges and Steve Bradley of Ogden and Shawn Martin of Brigham City, Utah; and six great-grandchildren. Services have been held. Pastor Duane Middleton officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Regional Health Care Foundation, P. O.
