HILL, Preston Sr.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 1, 1994, p. 2 Preston Hill Sr. of Phoenix died May 15 at his home. He was 71. Mr. Hill was born March 27, 1923 in Stamps, Arkansas and had lived in Arizona for two years, moving here from Texas. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was a retired machinist and enjoyed visiting with family and friends in Congress and Wickenburg. Mr. Hill is survived by sons Preston Hill Jr. of Garland, Texas, Albert Hill and Leonard Hill both of Chicago, Illinois; daughters Emma Jones of Harvey, Illinois and Helen Payne of Chicago; sisters Marquita Stewart and Louise Bliss, both of Congress; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services have been held. Interment was at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
