Alva Lee McClure of Morristown died May 25 in Sun City.  He was 80.

Mr. McClure was born December 18, 1913 in Teague, Texas and had lived in Arizona for  24 years.

He was a retired nursery owner and loved all types of cactus.  His hobbies included working with ceramics and plants.

Mr. McClure is survived by sisters Irene Carroll and Thelma Johnson; brother Harvey McClure, all of Houston, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and friends in the Morristown, Sun City and Wickenburg areas.

Graveside services were held May 30 at the Morristown Cemetery.  Pastor Duane Middleton officiated.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
