The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 8, 1994, p. 2 Jerry J. Ayers of Morristown died June 2 at the Circle City Supervisory Care Center. He was 70. Mr. Ayers was born October 15, 1923 in Bloomington, Indiana and had lived in Arizona for 14 years. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American legion. Before retiring, he worked in several of the restaurants in Wickenburg, including the Rancho Bar 7 as an assistant cook and dishwasher. Mr. Ayers is survived by many friends in the Morristown, Circle City and Wickenburg areas. Services have been held. Interment was at the V.A. National Cemetery in Phoenix. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #12, P.O. Box 954, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
