Charles Montalbano of Wickenburg died June 5. He was 93.
Mr. Montalbano was born April 12, 1901 in Palermo, Sicily and had lived in Arizona for 25 years, moving here from Chicago.
He resided at the Hassayampa Village where he acquired many friends and was known as a natural comic.
Mr. Montalbano is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Rose J. and Robert McHugh, and Bernice and Roberts Combs of Wickenburg; grandson Charles A. Combs and his wife Estrella of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; and great-grandchildren Joseph C. and Denia V. Combs.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Mary, in 1969.
Private family services are scheduled. Mr. Montalbano will be interred next to his wife Mary in the Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois at a later date.
