Christopher Lee Irish of Denver, Colorado and Wittmann died June 10 after being hit by a train on U.S. Hwy 60 and Walnut Street in Wittmann.  He was 23.

Mr. Irish was born February 27, 1971 in Grand Junction, Colorado and had been in Wittmann one month, visiting relatives.

He was a security guard for the Colorado Rockies baseball team and was a recent graduate from the Guardian Angels in Denver.

Mr. Irish is survived by his children Jesse, Shanté and Alexis; mother Leslie Jo Irish; brothers George and Wayne; sister Celina; great-grandmother Zelma Newton – all from Denver; aunts and uncles Marsha and Wayne Robinson of Missouri and Donna and Steve Baca of Wittmann; cousins David and Nicki of Missouri and Elisha, Joshua and Daniella of Wittmann.

Services are pending.  Wickenburg funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
