Don C. Pearo, 73, of Wickenburg died July 5 in Wickenburg.
Mr. Pearo was born March 6, 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He had lived in Arizona for the past 15 years, first living in Morristown and then moving to Wickenburg.
Mr. Pearo was an inspector in the aerospace industry. He also worked as a steeplejack and was a member of the Hassayampa River CB Club. His handle in the CB Club was “Buddha”.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Holly Heckel of Cedar, Minnesota; two sons, Jayson G. of Rush City, Minnesota and Russell B. of Circle Pines, Minnesota and two grandchildren, Sarah and Dena Heckel, of Cedar, Minnesota.
There were no services. At his request, Mr. Pearo’s cremated remains will be scattered over Lake Pleasant, one of his favorite fishing areas.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Mr. Pear’s name.
Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
