The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 27, 1994, p. 2 Joanne Lundholm Perks of Rockford, Illinois and Wickenburg died July 24 at St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was 68. Mrs. Perks was born December 4, 1925 in Rockford and was a lifelong resident there. She was a graduate of Wellsley College, a member of the Rockford Art Association, the Rockford Symphony Orchestra Guild and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. Mrs. Perks married Arthur Campbell Perks August 2, 1947 in Rockford and he survives. Other survivors include her daughters Wendy Perks (Robert) Fisher of Rockford and Valerie Perks (William) Donaldson of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania; sons Douglas Campbell Perks and Lachlan (Jan) Lundholm Perks both of Rockford; grandchildren Emily Victoria Donaldson, Elizabeth Fielding Donaldson, William Campbell Donaldson, Parker Bridgman Donaldson, Meredith Perks Donaldson, Wade Campbell Perks, Ann Genevieve Perks, Lucas Lundholm Perks, Andrew Dale Perks and Devan Lachlan Perks, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Joseph S. and Lillian Lutzhof Lundholm and a brother Robert Lundholm. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, July 29 at the Perks Middle Ranch, 6939 Severson Road, in Rockford. Wilbur H. Bartholomew will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Severson Dells Foundation, the Davis Memorial Park, Rockford or the Desert Caballeros Western Museum of Wickenburg. Fred C. Olson Chapels, East Chapel of Rockford handled the arrangements.
