STOFFEL, Herbert, Jr


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 27, 1994, p. 2 Herbert Stoffel Jr. of Mankato, Minnesota and a winter resident of Wickenburg, died July 23 in Mankato. He was 64. Mr. Stoffel was born May 13, 1930 in Lancaster, Wisconsin and had been a winter resident in Wickenburg for the past four years. He worked for Midwest Electric for 39 years and retired in 1990. He enjoyed traveling and was a race car fan. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Mrs. Stoffel is survived by his special friend and companion, Shirley Lehrke of Mankato, daughters Lisa and Nichol Stoffel who live with their mother, Joan Stoffel on Lake Washington; step-son Dean Steiner and his wife Dianne of Kasota; step-daughters Kristie Applen of San Frabcisco, California and Sheila Applen of Cable, Wisconsin; brother Stanley Stoffel and his wife Sharon of Seattle, Washington; sister-in-law Helen Hansen of Mankato; four step-grandchildren; two great step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Marjorie (Hansen) Stoffel; sister Margaret and brother-in-law Paul Hansen. Services have been held. Pastor Hans Jorgensen officiated and interment was at the Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contribution s may be made to Immanuel-St. Joseph’s Hospice in Mankato. Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato handled the arrangements.
