The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 24, 1994, p. 2 Verna V. Lashmet, 83, of Wickenburg died August 17 in Wickenburg. Mrs. Lashmet was born November 28, 1910 in Lincoln, Michigan. She had lived in Arizona for the past 16 years. Mrs. Lashmet was of French descent. She was married 61 years to David R. Lashmet, who preceded her in death in 1987. In the early years of her life and marriage, she was socially active with the company her husband was employed with. She enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to a bridge club. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles as a hobby. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, David R. and Rose Lashmet of Sedona, and Richard B. and Arlene Lashmet of Grass Valley, California; seven grandchildren, Donna, Richard, David, Derek, Dense, Deborah and Donald; seven great-grandchildren, Kristi, Steve, Daryl, Jason, Brandon, Amy and Eddie; and two great-great grandchildren, Jonathan and Jarrica. Private services have been conducted. A Memorial Mass may be scheduled for a later date at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. All arrangements were handled by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
