DURAN, Mercedes Mendez

Mercedes Mendez Duran born on January 9, 1918 in Cananea Sonora for a few years, later moved to Hermosillo Sonora Mexico. Then moved to Tucson, AZ for the remainder of her life. She passed away into the arms of her Lord on February 17, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Duran. Survived by her children, Thelma (Raul) Elenes, Aide Karger, Maricela Sanchez, Arturo (Rosie) Duran, Francisco Javier (Minerva) Duran, Lourdes (Manuel) Mejia, Brenda Duran and her beloved sister, Ramona Mendez and her family and numerous siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, Friday, February 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. following Saturday 26, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and leaving to St. Augustine Cathedral and burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
