KING, Charlotte Lee

Charlotte Lee King 4/24/1933 - 2/19/2011 died February 19, 2011 after a long battle with COPD.

She was preceded by her husband, Howard King, native of Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her children, Fred King (Wendy), Deanna Rex (Chuck), Susan Mahoney (Dan), John King and Jane Wise (Gary); ten grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, sister, Carol Engstler from Bozeman, MT and brother, George Lee of Tucson. 

Charlotte, born in Grassy Butte, ND, lived in Tucson for 60 years. She participated in various charities throughout the community and was past president of Saguaro Women's Club and RMO Trap Shoot Club. She was known for always having an open door to friends in time of need or fun. 

Arrangements made by DESERT ROSE CREMATION AND BURIAL. Services will be held at Church of the Apostles, 12111 N. La Cholla (north of Tangerine) Oro Valley, AZ 85755 at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 with a reception to follow at Tucson Omni Resort at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers your remembrance can be made to Casa De Los Ninos or to your favorite charity.
