BURKETT, William Karney

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 14, 1994, p. 2 William Karney Burkett of Wickenburg died September 8 in Wickenburg. He was 81. Mr. Burkett was born April 16, 1913 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and had lived in Arizona two years, moving here from Washington. He had a vast variety of interests. Mr. Burkett is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Kromer of Wickenburg; sons William A. Burkett of El Paso, Texas and James K. Burkett of Oregon; two sisters; two brothers, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services for Mr. Burkett were held Sunday, September 11 and interment was at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Greg Lucas officiated. Frey Funeral in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
