BERISH, David Russell


BERISH, David Russell, February 22, 1947 – February 21, 2011. David passed peacefully with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, NJ to Frank (late) and Steffie Berish and raised in Levittown, PA. He graduated from Pennsbury High School 1964 and joined the Army in 1966. He was in the 1st Cavalry Division as an aircraft mechanic serving his country in Germany, Vietnam War and later at Ft Huachuca, AZ. David was an owner/operator of Horseless Carriage Carriers. He loved transporting antique and classic cars throughout the country. He and his wife moved to Marana, AZ in 2005. David is survived by his wife, Dawn (Tribbett) of 41 years. He had three loving children, Tempa Berish (Eric) (Philadelphia, PA), Cory Berish (Marana, AZ), Summer Berish (Peoria, AZ). He also has one fantastic granddaughter, Chelsea Stellmach (Philadelphia, PA). David is also survived by his mother, Steffie P. Berish (Bradenton, FL); brother, Jim Berish (Colleen) (Bradenton, FL) and sister, Patricia Dibert (Warminster, PA) and nieces and nephews. David was a wonderful, loving man, always smiling, who made friends with everyone he met. He loved Formula 1 and NASCAR Racing. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Tucson at 1:00 p.m. 520-326-3591.
