Gabriel LeDesma, Jr. of Phoenix and formerly of Wickenburg died September 24 in Scottsdale. He was 66.
Mr. LeDesma was born October 2, 1927 in Fairfield, Calfiornia. He had lived in Arizona form the past nine years, moving here from Nevada.
Mr. LeDesma was a truck driver for 25 years. He worked at Blakeley’s in Wickenburg for five years and also worked at K-Mart in Nevada for 10 years. For the last 10 years of his life, he made video tapes of his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Alberta, of Phoenix; daughters Eileen Davis of Colorado, Deborah Cramer of Utah, Sharon Ritchey of Wickenburg, and Carol Byrne of California; sons Gerald LeDesma of Phoenix, Gabriel and Gary LeDesma of California, Tim LeDesma of Nevada, John Griffey, Rick Griffey and Steve Napier of Phoenix; sisters Dora Gomez, Lydia Finberg, Betty Sigston and Eunice Black; brothers David and Daniel LeDesma and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Concha LeDesma, one sister and one brother.
Services were held September 27 at the Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Pastor Gary Golike officiated.
