The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 28, 1994, p. 2 Joan V. Lucas of Cottonwood and a former resident of Wickenburg died September 23. She was 64. Mrs. Lucas was born March 13, 1930 in Los Angeles. She had lived in Arizona since 1987, moving here from Apple Valley, California. Mrs. Lucas was a theatrical agent and a radio gospel singer. Survivors include her husband Robert; step-daughters Laurie Graves and Lisa Bennett, both of Colorado; brother-in-law Bill Lucas of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and several aunts and uncles. A brother also survives. Services were held September 27 in Cottonwood, with burial in the Cottonwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Lucas’ name to “Feed the Children”, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
