Ida Clarice "Clarissa" B. Migdal Rosary and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 272 N. Rodriguez Street, Nogales, AZ at 12:30 p.m. Clarice (nee Bachelier) Migdal, born in Nogales, Arizona on September 24, 1960, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 in San Diego, California where she resided.
She is survived by her husband, Stewart; sons, Michael of San Francisco, CA and Andrew of Los Angeles, CA, both graduates of USC, and Stephen who will be graduating from USC in May this year. She is also survived by her mother, Irma (Valencia) Bachelier; sister, Louise Bachelier; brother, Luis (Cindy) Bachelier, Deidre (Manny) Dominguez, Marie Anna (Jeffrey) Maxson, Marie Beth (George) Silva, Marie Catherine Bachelier Smith, Aimee Bachelier; in-laws, Morris and Natalie Migdal and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and also by many Gastelum relatives. She was predeceased by her father, Luis G. Bachelier and her brother, Larre Bachelier.
Clarice was the first born of nine children of Luis and Irma Bachelier. Clarice graduated from Nogales High School in 1978. She met her husband, Stewart Migdal, when they were students at the University of Arizona, from where she graduated in 1982. They were married in 1984. Clarice was a wonderful person, jolly, good-natured and so very helpful and caring. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, niece, cousin and friend. She also loved her dogs. Clarice will be greatly missed and is dearly loved by all the Bachelier and Valencia families, as well as the Migdal and Gastelum families of Tucson.
She had wonderful friends, co-workers and neighbors in San Diego. She is remembered for her love of life and for cultivating her family with the same care and patience with which she cultivated her garden. She is fiercely loved and will be greatly missed.
